After searching around for some map of Calgary that shows what is going on during the flooding with not much success, the team decided to create its own flooding information map.
In just two days we pulled everything together and created this overview map, based on textual information from the City of Calgary’s webpage/blog:
A static image can be also seen below (click on it to get to the live map).
We hope this map helps others to get an idea what is, and has been going on.
A particular thanks goes to Andrew and Ebrahim from the Geomatics group for creating the base data and the map application.
