McKnight Boulevard Transportation Study: Online Information Session

Transportation Planning is conducting a study for McKnight Boulevard from Deerfoot Trail to Stoney Trail (see map of study area). Since November 2013, the project team has worked collaboratively with citizens to identify opportunities for traffic optimization, and to determine the feasibility of adding High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes in the study area.

Study recommendations and how public input was used throughout the study is available at www.calgary.ca/mcknight. The project team is piloting an online-only information session format to determine if it will meet stakeholder/public needs. There are three-ways for you to participate online:

1.    Review the slideshow below. It presents the study’s purpose and process, public engagement process and input gathered, and study recommendations.
2.    Email McknightStudy@calgary.ca if you have any questions about the information presented. The project team will answer questions until February 9, 2015. Responses will be posted on this web page every few days for information.
3.    Participate in one of two Live Chat sessions on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A link to the Live Chat will be provided on Feb.
